With Story Feedback, you’ll gain insights into what’s working in your manuscript and where it can strengthen. The feedback will encompass everything from the structure and plot to character development to the nuances of your writing style, ensuring your story meets and exceeds reader expectations.
In a line edit, I'll look at phrasing, word choice, sentence structure, major inconsistencies, tense switches and any challenges in maintaining voice and so on. This editing costs slightly more because it requires more time during the editing process.
With a developmental edit, I'll perform an in-depth analysis of your plot, structure, readibility, characteers and the general believability and readibility of your story. This edit looks at the big picture elements through a developmental edit.
I offer a full edit for short stories, reaching a maximum of 10,000 words. A short story edit includes feedback on structure, plot, characters, readability, and overall delivery. It's the same as a full edit, just for a shorter excerpt.
